The College provides medical insurance coverage for all the students for hospitalisation and related medical treatment for the entire course duration. Students who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Resident may choose to opt out for the medical insurance if they are already covered under medical insurance plans meeting CPE stipulated requirement. Students who wish to opt out will have to provide evidence of their medical insurance policy and must remain covered by medical insurance during their course of studies with the College.
The minimum features/coverage for medical insurance are as follows:
- Annual limit not less than S$ 20,000.00 per student
- At least B2 ward (in government and restructured hospitals); and
- 24-hour coverage in Singapore and overseas (if student is involved in school-related activities overseas)
Students will be given information as contained in the Student Handbook on the medical insurance policy stating clearly the policy’s terms and conditions, the claim procedures, any exclusion and other related information regarding the insurance.
