TAALEEM College of International Studies
Taaleem India is one of India’s leading Skill Development & Capacity Building organisations started in June 2009. Taaleem is the first organisation in India to launch the unique Taaleem Eco-System, Adoption, Innovation Hub and Hybrid Cloud model of industry. Taaleem has trained more than 22,350 students and corporate (skilled and semi-skilled) manpower in the last three years in North India with 12,800 professional and domain specific jobs attracted to partner institutes from leading corporations and MNCs in India. More than 5,700 engineering and management graduates have been placed as a result of the Employability Skill Development programmes of Taaleem with nearly twenty-one colleges and universities in North India.
Taaleem India has launched Taaleem College of International Studies (TCIS) in Chandigarh. TCIS is the first college in India to institutionalise a unique Taaleem Eco-System related to ‘Industry Adoption Model’.
The Collaboration
In collaboration with AIC, TCIS will offer AIC’s Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Business Managementand International Business, as well as the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Digital Pedagogies) based on the Industry Adoption model. In the first month of the course, companies will select suitable students for real-time industry exposure and future employment with the organisation. The students will be trained via practical work situations in live projects, R&D and internships with the adopter companies. Classes for the first batch of the IB programme began in September 2012, and TCIS is currently enrolling students for the Business Managementand Digital Pedagogies programmes.
