Delivery
A mix of local and international Faculty will facilitate the programme. Classes can take place online using our Collaborative Learning Space (CLS) or through face-to-face classroom sessions. Where classes are delivered online, discussion can be asynchronous in the CLS. In some cases, guest speakers and visiting Faculty can deliver their sessions using Webcasting tools, such as Elluminate, without physically being in the same room.
Assessment
Every module will offer assessments (individual contributions to discussion blogs and group presentations) that are designed to help integrate knowledge, concepts and skills that the students are expected to have acquired in the programme. The discussion blogs and presentations will each contribute to 30% of the overall marks for every module. In addition, students will receive feedback from the Faculty on their performance as well.
The Open Book, Open Web (OBOW) written exam serves as a final litmus test to assess student’s learning. This type of assessment, which contributes to 40% of the overall marks for every module, will require students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills within a business context.
